What information do we collect?
When you join, we need to know your name and e-mail address. Your mailing address and phone number are optional. This information allows us to create unique user login information for each member of the Network. All of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

Will my information be sold?
NO! We do not sell your personal information to others for commercial purposes. In registering for the Environmental Ethics Network, you sign-up to receive periodic email updates and newsletters from the Network. You may also receive occasional emails from organizations associated with the Environmental Ethics Network, including The Video Project and the Goldman Environmental Prize along with the endorsing organizations.

Protecting Children
The Environmental Ethics Network takes into consideration the privacy and safety of children online. Because of this, we will make all efforts to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). COPPA and its accompanying FTC regulations establish United States federal law that protects the privacy of children using the Internet. We do not and will not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. Our site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13, and we will develop our site with the capacity to block acceptance of information from children under 13 whenever age-related information is requested.
